Approximately 150 singers applied for Dora 2011. After the audition, which lasted from Thursday to Saturday, jury chose candidates who will fight for the title of Croatian representatives on 56th Eurovision Song Contest, which will be held in Düsseldorf, Germany.

Croatian representative for Eurovision 2011 will be chosen through reality show. There will be seven live shows in which all the participants will sing songs live and televoting will decide which two will be in the grand final to be held on 5th March. Two participants will then sing three songs each and televoting and jury will decide the winner (50-50). First live show will be held on 22nd January.
